Aging Defined

A Polish grandma once told me, "Oi, they forgot to tell me about the rust in the Golden Years."

One of Maxine's witticisms I can relate to is:

Yep, humor lightened the moment while the paramedics helped me up from my kitchen floor. That evening I learned that everything in my kitchen moved. I had nothing to grab onto.

Now at age 77, I agree with Old Socrates:

 I am the wisest [wo]man alive, 

for I know one thing, 

and that is that I know nothing.
